Dr. Joseph Xie

Dr. Joseph Xie has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2018.
Dr. Joseph Xie is the founder and President of IC Engineering and Business School (ICEBS), professor at the Fudan University, School of Microelectronics.Joseph graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University. He received Ph.D. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, He also received EMBA degree from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
Dr. Xie worked at Intel engaged in CMOS technology and device research work after graduation, and received the Intel Corporate Achievement Award in December 1990. DR. Xie served as the director of the marketing department in the Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, He was a founding member and adjunct professor at Singapore MIT Alliance.
In 2001, Dr. Richard Chang founded SMIC and Dr. Xie is one of the founding member, served as vice president of R & D center and GM of Eurasian Business Center. In 2012, Dr. Xie founded QST corporation, a leading motion sensor chip company in China. In 2016, Dr. Xie founded a new engineering and business school (ICEBS) to train engineers and managers in IC industry.
